What is Anxiety?
What is anxiety? Anxiety is the anticipation of future concern. It leads to muscle tension and avoidance behavior. So how does it affect me?
We all have feelings of anxiety, worry, and fear sometimes. These can be normal responses to certain situations. For example, you might worry about a job interview, or not paying a bill on time. As a result, these feelings can make you aware of risks and what to do in a difficult or dangerous situation.
When is your anxiety outside normal ranges?
- Restlessness, feeling wound-up or on edge.
- Muscle tension.
- Fatigue.
- Difficulty concentrating
- Difficulty controlling fear, worry, or paranoia.
- Irritability.
- Sleep disruption, including
- difficulty falling or staying asleep
- restless, unsatisfying sleep
- Sudden and repeated attacks of intense fear.

There are many mental health resources. Seek help if you are suffering.

So, be sure to include time to exercise in your weekly wellbeing planner! Exercise increases your overall health and sense of well-being. It puts more pep in your step every day. And exercise can directly bust your stress. As a result, it pumps up your brain’s feel-good neurotransmitters, endorphins.
